After 19 years, the class of 2002 reunited for a weekend retreat at the Bowentown baches in March this year. Coming from all over New Zealand, they bonded over good food, beautiful scenery and shared their highs and lows since graduating.

Master of Applied Theology student Cianne Tait is planning out a research project that will explore the experience of depression and anxiety among young people. The goal of the research is to listen to the mental health stories of Christians between the ages of 18 and 30 who live with depression or anxiety and to reflect on these experiences.

How we do church has changed significantly since Mike Warring graduated from Carey’s Pastoral Leadership programme in 2006: "A lot of our focus has been on the gathered community and we now need to be resourcing and equipping to be the church scattered."
