“A well-known Sāmoan proverb says “E lē tū fa’amauga se tagata – no person stands alone like a mountain”. Carey is a place that provides a space for you to train with, in, and for community! I believe my purpose working here at Carey is to stand alongside and assist my Pasifika brothers and sisters in achieving well in their academic folauga (journey) so that they can translate and transfer all the knowledge, wisdom and skills received here back to their beloved families, faith communities and ministries to further resource our Pasifika people and lead them well. This is why I am here and where my passion lies, to see my people know and love the Lord more!”
