Bio
Grant has been a member of the Carey Baptist College Board for 21 years, chairing it for over half that time. Grant graduated from Carey in the class of ’01 and has always enjoyed supporting Carey through its governance functions. Grant has been involved in the appointment process of the last two principals and is pleased to support the management team as Executive Chair in the transition period between principals.
Grant began his working life as a banker in the Manawatu area, working in multiple branch and then head office roles in Wellington. Responding to God’s call to pastoral ministry, Grant undertook the pastoral leadership track at Carey before pastoring in New Plymouth for seven years and has been the Lead Pastor of Windsor Park Baptist Church on the North Shore of Auckland for the last sixteen years.
