Programme Options

New Zealand Certificate in Christian Studies. This is a 4 course introductory programme.

New Zealand Diploma in Christian Studies. Eight course programme designed for ministry leaders to gain a strong theological foundation.

Combining bible and theology and mission and ministry, our Bachelor of Applied Theology programme is a solid theological education giving you a thorough understanding and skills for an in-depth application of your faith 

Graduate Diploma of Applied Theology. If you have a previous tertiary qualification and want to deepen your faith and biblical understanding this eight course qualification is for you.

Postgraduate Studies. Postgraduate and Masters qualifications for those who want to delve deeper in a more robust account of Christian faith and practice.

Pastoral Leadership

Do you have a call on your life to be a leader or Pastor?

Carey’s specialised Pastoral Leadership training programme is strategically designed to prepare you to be effective in your ministry.

Ngā Pou Amorangi

Ngā Pou Amorangi is our Māori leadership training programme. It is a space for Christians to fully explore what it means to be Māori and Christian – and in the process of exploration, to prepare to serve confidently in Māori contexts and beyond. 

Youth Ministry Training

Are you serious about immersing yourself in youth ministry?

At Carey we are passionate about training the best pastoral leaders for ministry with youth.

Foundations of Youth Ministry, Discovery Youth Internship or Youth Pastoral Leadership training; we have an option for you.

Mission Track

Mission Track is a learning and formation programme where you will journey with others as you grow in your understanding of God, the world, and the gospel and discern the way ahead for your participation in God’s mission.

Intermission

This one year programme is an intentional faith formation year for young people who are just finishing high school.

Journeying in a cohort with other students it is a year to learn about God, about themselves and gain valuable skills for the next chapter in life.
