Mark has been married to Maria for 27 years and has two daughters aged 27 and 25. He has had a long career in business, finishing as CEO of The Warehouse Group three years ago.

In the Business area He has a Bachelor’s degree in Mining engineering, a Masters in Logistics and a MBA.

He now has a diversity of commercial board roles and is an Adjunct Professor at Auckland Graduate School of Management.

In addition to his business roles, he is Chair of the New Zealand Christian Network and the Venn Foundation.

He is also a qualified Baptist Pastor, having completed the Pastoral Leadership track alongside the Applied Theology degree at Carey. Additionally, he has a Masters in Christian Apologetics from Biola University in the USA.

He currently teaches apologetics at Carey and is on the Carey Board. Mark is an Elder at Whangaparaoa Baptist, the same church he came to faith in through Alpha in 2003.
