Kaiārahi and Lecturer
Te Ao Māori Course
Lorraine Taogaga (aka Whaea Lorraine) is the Kaiārahi of the Te Ao Māori Course, in which she will also lecture, in 2018. Having taught the Te Reo Māori Beginner’s Course at Carey in 2017, she will continue in this role for 2018 also.
Lorraine is completing her Master of Theology at Laidlaw College and has trained as both a lawyer and Te Reo Māori teacher.
She has two children, one recently ran a political campaign and the other married. For the first time, this year, she became a grandmother to Willow.
Lorraine attended Pt Chevalier Baptist Church for ten years and now attends the Equipper’s Church in Central Auckland.
