He lectures in Applied Theology with a focus on Theology of Culture, Ecclesiology, Leadership and Baptist Theology.
Bridget coordinates our Intermission Programme
Christa is Lecturer in Systematic Theology.
With degrees in philosophy, bible exposition, and systematic theology, she enjoys bringing these disciplines together in order to speak into what it means to flourish.
George is the Director of the Carey Centre for Mission Research and Training.
He leads the Mission Track and teaches various mission related courses, as well as some New Testament courses in the MAppTheol programme.
In addition to his role as Principal, John teaches Church History and Preaching. He also coordinates Carey’s School of Preaching.
Michael J. Rhodes is lecturer in Old Testament. Along with teaching the Introduction to the Old Testament Michael teaches a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses including Worship and Wisdom and Prophets: A Canonical Reading.
Phil lectures in Applied Theology with a focus on pastoral care, pastoral counselling, inner healing, and integrative theology.
Rachel co-ordinates our Internships and Field Education papers. She is the point person for study in Children and Family Leadership.
Sam is our Youth Pastoral Leadership Coach as well as having overall responsibility for Community Life of the College.
Kaiārahi-Rangahau Māori
Sandy (Ngāti Hauā, Ngāti Tūwharetoa, Ngāti Raukawa) is Carey’s Maori guide, counsellor, supervisor and Rangahau research.
Sarah lectures in New Testament Studies. Her research interests are in Gospel Studies and especially the Gospel of Luke, and she is particularly keen to support women in their spiritual journey and academic study.
