Rewai is Kaiwhakahaere, Ngā Pou Amorangi, responsible for the delivery of the Diploma in Māori Leadership. The leadership contribution that Rewai brings to Carey is mana enhancement capabilities of whanau/people and communities.

Rewai has over 20 years of ministry, pastoral care and leadership experience as well as significant experience in operational and strategic management of teams and systems. He has been involved in community development projects in New Zealand and abroad. He has lectured and pastored and most recently served for 15 years as an army chaplain. He continues to contribute to a range of governance bodies. Rewai applies culturally appropriate protocols to help people feel at ease in diverse situations.
