Anna Tovey works as a Library Assistant at Carey, joining a team committed to supporting students and staff in the access and use of library resources. She is onsite four days a week and as well as her role in library support, she also maintains the Baptist Archives.
While Anna has worked in the theological library context various times before, her life has also been enriched by numerous experiences of mission work overseas, mainly in Romania and Kenya, working with street youth and people struggling with drug and alcohol addictions respectively. She also worked for NZCMS (New Zealand Church Missionary Society) for a few years helping young people engage in meaningful mission experiences both in New Zealand and overseas. Anna is passionate about encouraging people in their dreams and what God has called them too, and therefore sees her new role at Carey as a place where she can do this.
