Students who complete the Mission stream will be awarded the New Zealand Diploma in Christian Studies.
The Mission stream follows the Carey academic year (March to November), but it may be possible for the practical placement to begin earlier, if arranged in advance.
Your Contextual Theological Praxis (MF505) includes participation in a mission cohort that meets weekly (on-site or by Zoom) to explore mission topics, cultivate a missional reading of the Bible, and reflect and discern together.
The full programme of Contextual Theological Practice plus six courses can be completed in one year full-time or over two to four years.
Study may be on-site or by distance, or a combination.
