Ethnic Ministry Training

Are you a leader or emerging leader with a non-English speaking background?

Then this programme is for you.

You may be from a church or fellowship that is new or well established in New Zealand and you want training to be more effective as you serve and minister in your church.

Here at Carey we provide ministry training to a variety of churches and their emerging leaders, who have a non-English speaking background.

“Our experience is that a lot of leader’s lack English and can’t study in a full-time course. We don’t have confidence. We need to upgrade our theology, ministry and management because many of us have only the experience from our home country and don’t know how to operate in New Zealand.”

Pastor La Wawm Marip | NZ Kachin (Burmese) Baptist Church, Auckland

Alumni Stories

Danilo Ninal

This course has been really good, I like it very much and appreciate it. It’s widened my perspective and horizon especially coming from a country where we have a totally different perspective on things. I’m not sure if there are many courses like this where you can meet so many beautiful people from different countries – it has been amazing.
