Sometimes life circumstances change unexpectedly and students can find themselves in financial (or other) difficulty. This could include a lack of access to appropriate technology during lockdowns due to Covid-19. Carey can offer some assistance to those who require it in an emergency or crisis situation.

In the first instance, to apply for assistance students should discuss their needs with their teacher or student support staff (or email Neroli at [email protected]).
If a student is unable to apply directly, the student may nominate a programme leader/teacher or student support staff member to apply in writing on their behalf to the Executive Director. Decisions will be made at the discretion of the Executive Director according to the criterion of greatest financial need.
