Programme Co-ordinator, Carey Centre for Lifelong Learning
An exciting opportunity has opened at Carey Baptist College for the right person to step into the part-time role of Programme Co-ordinator for the Carey Centre for Lifelong Learning.
Carey Baptist College is one of New Zealand’s leading theological colleges existing to train and equip Christian leaders to bring gospel renewal in churches and communities across Aotearoa and around the world. The Carey Centre for Lifelong Learning was established to support the on-going learning and professional development of these leaders. The Centre also supports churches to thrive by providing them with training resources.
The successful candidate will oversee the day-to-day running and administration of Lifelong Learning programs, and contribute to their development, promotion, and evaluation. A significant part of the role is also to administrate Baptist Registration and Supervision on behalf of the Baptist Union of New Zealand.
With proven experience in administration, great relationship building skills, excellent organisational and planning capabilities, and ability to utilise information technology platforms, the appointed candidate will be part of a passionate team that is equipping Christian leaders and churches to thrive.
The job will suit someone who is flexible, ideally working 4 days a week but this is negotiable. Some weekend work and travel will be required. An understanding of the New Zealand Baptist church context, and membership of a local Baptist Church is an advantage.
