Research Administrator 

Carey Baptist College  

An exciting opportunity has opened up at Carey Baptist College for the right person to step into the part-time (fixed term) role of Research Administrator.  Our calling at Carey is to equip Christians to think, live, lead, and serve in ways that will advance God’s mission in this world. We specialise in preparing men and women for pastoral and mission leadership, but we provide a range of training pathways for anyone wanting to grow in their faith and participate more fully in God’s work of renewing this world.   

Carey has been blessed to receive a grant from the John Templeton Foundation entitled “Theological Anthropology, Fundamental Need, and Human Flourishing: A Women Scholar’s Project”. 

The successful candidate will administer this three-year grant. They will track project timeline and deliverables, oversee event planning and coordination of the 2022 international conference, develop written communications and handle all daily logistics of the project. With proven experience in educational administration, a Bachelors’ degree in Theology or a related subject, great relationship building skills, excellent organisational and planning capabilities, and a keen sense of humour, the appointed candidate will be part of a stellar and passionate team. 

The job will suit someone who is flexible, working 15 hours per week (with days to be agreed).
