Carey was the choice for me when I wanted to do theological training. I started the Bachelor of Applied Theology within six months of my arrival in New Zealand but quickly found my way in the adjustment process. Thanks to all the teaching staff for their friendly and supportive natures. In fact, all members of the staff were resourceful, cooperative and humble. The variety of the offered courses significantly shaped my approach to Scripture and at times challenged my understanding of it. One positive idea that I cherish when I think about my time at Carey is the ability to develop a worldview that is well informed biblically and theologically. The combination of Tuesday Chapels, lunches and guest speakers were the highlights for me. Community is not only the most talked about subject but also the most experienced thing at Carey. When I look back and consider my time at Carey, I feel blessed to have met so many people and experienced God’s amazing grace in that place.
