At the NZ Baptist National Assembly 5-8 November 2009, Charles Hewlett was formally commissioned as the Principal of Carey Baptist College. The staff and student community join with the wider Baptist denomination in congratulating Charles and welcoming him to this new role.
Charles is no stranger to Carey as he has been the Director of Ministry Training for the past 5 years, overseeing the non classroom and formational training of the Pastoral Leadership students. He has been widely appreciated by students, church leaders and staff alike and is warmly endorsed in this new leadership role at Carey.
