Te Ao Maori

This course introduces the student to the Māori World, by way of explaining the concept, and use, of Whakapapa in relation to Maori Christian Spirituality and History, the historical impact of the Treaty of Waitangi and its place in Church and the wider NZ Society today.

This course establishes the groundwork for an effective understanding of the Māori World, Spirituality and History, covering issues surrounding the Treaty of Waitangi, Bi-culturalism, Social Structures and Mission to Māori.
