Areas covered will include the following:

Introduction to the principles and theology of pastoral care

Introduction to the processes of growth, of human and spiritual development

Introduction to counseling methods that equip the pastoral caregiver for the task
4. Introduction to the role of people engaged in the caring ministry and to the attitudes
which at are appropriate to this ministry in the context of New Zealand society.
