How to Borrow
Borrowers may reserve loanable items selected from the library catalogue
After doing your search, tick box(es) in left margin to select item(s) from the search results list for further action.
At the top of this list are several options:
'View Selections' creates a new list made up of the selected (ticked) items
'Clear' cancels any ticked selections
'Email' to email your selections
'Print'
'Reserve', for this you will need to provide your User Name (the full barcode number on your borrowers card) and Password ( the last 4 digits of this number). Use Reserve to request books, videos etc. that are either available in the library or currently on loan.
When an item that is on loan becomes available you will be notified by email.
Items will be mailed out to distance borrowers free of charge - return postage is at your expense.
If you would rather not order your books online you can either email the library with your requests: library@carey.ac.nz or phone us at 09 526 0347/ 09 526 6596, or freephone 0800 773776.
