Christian Ministry Training (CMT/Internship)
Christian Ministry Training is three 30 credit courses (MF505, MF605, MF705), and you may take one for every equivalent full time year of study. This will usually entail taking one CMT course and 6 taught/academic courses every year of study. The course duration is one academic year, and each course is offered every year.
To start the course your CMT Ministry Proposal needs to be submitted by the first day of the semester, but your ministry and supervisor need to be approved by the coordinator in principle before you can enrol in any CMT/Internship courses.
For each CMT course you are expected to complete at least 240 hours of practical ministry over the year. This usually works out at about a day a week during semester time. In addition, some or all of that practical ministry must constitute supervised ministry training. This training is to be worked out between the ministry organisation, the student, and the course coordinator and must meet the requirements of the course. However, those requirements are designed to be flexible enough to accommodate any form of Chrstian ministry provided the standard of supervision is sufficient.
