Secretary Canterbury Auxiliary 1935-1937. Mission Council 1937-1948. N.Z.B.M.S. Executive Committee 1947-1948. Rev. Goring’s initial zeal for overseas mission was cut short when he returned to New Zealand due to illness and it was deemed his health would not stand up to further service in the tropics.
