Manager NZ Baptist 1916-1920. President Union 1921/22. Son of Josiah T. Hinton, who was President of the Union in 1891. W.H. Hinton came to N.Z. after missionary service with his wife in Poona, India from 1896 to 1906. He served on the N.Z.B.M.S. Committee; and as Union President made the mission in India his priority.
