Winslade , Brian Norman
1958- . Son of Baptist Pastor Norman Winslade, he began in youth ministry at Wanganui Central 1979-1981; and then as youth director for the Auckland Association 1981-1984; prior to a pastorate at Franklin (Pukekohe) 1984-1989. A short time with N.Z.B.M.S. in Bangladesh (1989-1991) was followed by pastorates, first at Te Puke 1991-1995; and then at Windsor Park (Auckland) 1995- . This current pastorate has seen marked church growth, with worship numbers increasing from 450 to 1450 attendees, and members from 350 to 700. While continuing in this burgeoning ministry Winslade has also had a half-time role since 2001 as National Leader of the Baptist Union.
