Williams , Dean Carey

1937- . He had a distinguished career in medicine as a consultant surgeon, serving as Chairman of the New Zealand Medical Association (1982-1983) and of the New Zealand Medical Practitioners Disciplinary Committee (1985-1995). He was very active in the Hamilton South Baptist Church, acting as its Chair of Deacons or Secretary, 1969-1993. He was Chair of the Assembly Council 1990-1997. He was made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in 1985.
