Carey believes that effective leadership involves the integration of knowledge, skills, character and passion. So we utilize the following development model in our training of students for pastoral leadership.
The PL track is designed to maximize each student's development in all four quadrants. Through academic study they acquire biblical and theological knowledge necessary for pastoral ministry.
Through supervision, mentoring, community involvement and reflection, they grow in their character and passion.
The goal of the pastoral leadership track is to produce integrated pastoral leaders who are competent, confident, credible and compassionate.
